hello@abuelito.co — tell us which app, your phone (for example, iPhone 15 on iOS 26) and what happened; a screenshot helps. We answer in English or Spanish, usually within 1–2 business days. In the app: Profile → "Legal & help" → "Email us".
All apps
Do I need an account? No. Everything works without one. The account (email or Apple) only saves your progress and lets you use it on another phone.
The code didn't arrive. Check Spam or Promotions; it comes from hello@abuelito.co. Wait a minute and tap "Send it again". You can also sign in with Apple.
"Couldn't sign in with Apple". Check your internet connection and that your iPhone is signed in to an Apple ID (Settings → your name). Try again or use your email. If it keeps happening, email us with the time it happened.
I can't hear Abuelito's voice. Turn up the volume and turn off silent mode. Offline, some voices and videos play once you're connected again.
Hands-free can't hear me. In Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and Speech Recognition, allow the app.
I changed phones. Sign in with the same account on the new phone and your progress appears. Without an account, progress stays on the old phone.
Restore purchases (once passes exist). Sign in with the account you bought with (Profile → "Your account") and tap "Restore purchases".
Refunds. Apple refunds iPhone purchases at reportaproblem.apple.com; we refund abuelito.co purchases. See Refunds.
Delete my account. Profile → "Your account" → "Delete my account", or see Delete my account.
Turn off anonymous data. Profile → Settings → "Help Grandpa with anonymous data".
Abuelito Driving School
Is my state included? There are guides and practice tests in the format of many states, plus a general course for the whole US. Pick your state in Profile.
Is the practice test the official one? No. It is based on your state's official handbook; real questions may differ. Always check your DMV's handbook.
What about the CDL? It's in the same app: choose the CDL school in Profile.
Abuelito Citizenship
Which test, 2008 (100) or 2025 (128)? It depends on when you filed your N-400. Choose it in Profile; if you're not sure, check your receipt notice or ask an attorney or accredited representative.
Is "My N-400" sent to USCIS? No. It's a private practice that stays on your phone. The official form is filed only at uscis.gov.
"Read aloud" says it couldn't score. It needs internet and your permission to send the recording to Microsoft for scoring. Otherwise you can continue without a score.
Do you give legal advice? No. We're an educational app; "Free legal help" in the app helps you find attorneys and accredited representatives.
Abuelito English
What level is it for? From zero. The welcome asks what you already know and builds your path.
It doesn't understand me. Speak close to the phone in a quiet place, and check the microphone and speech recognition permissions.
